Dress Rental Agreement

At The borrowed bump, we take our dress rental agreement seriously, as it ensures both our customers and our business are protected. Please note that in order to rent one of our beautiful dresses, you must be 18 years of age or older.

1: Your dress rental includes: 

• Dress

• Garment bag & hanger

• Cleaning and steaming of the dress

2. The dress will be available for pick-up on the first day of the agreed upon rental period. Rental periods are 3 days long.

3. Once rented you are responsible for taking care of the item(s), therefore treat with care and respect so they can be reloved again.

​

4. A refundable $100 security deposit is due at the same time of payment prior to pick-up.

​

5. Payments are accepted through debit/credit card or cash. Security Deposits must be placed using a credit card.

​

6. A fitting room is available to try on dress(es) prior to pick up or rental of a dress. You may schedule a private try on appointment for $50, where you can try on multiple dresses at a time.

​

7. A dress rental must be returned within the rental period or a $10/day charge will be deducted from the $100 deposit.

​

8. All dress rentals must be picked up at our studio address given at booking and returned to the same location unless an agreement has been made for other arrangements. ​​

​

9. When the dress is returned it must include the following; 

​

• Dress

• Garment bag & hanger

​

10. Rental cancellations must be made (7) days prior to the rental period to receive a full refund.

​

11. The $100 security deposit will be refunded in the same form of payment once the dress has been returned in an *acceptable condition.
